In New Zealand the police coordinate all search and rescue missions on land and sea in conjunction with Maritime New Zealand.  As a responsible professional organisation the Diverse Boat Company has made its boats available to the New Zealand police and emergency services for search and rescue operations as and when required free of charge (except for fuel).
